Providing Abundance–What Kind of Fairness

Toronto Conference Fall Rally - November 7, 2009

Our beliefs in fairness and equity are challenged during times of economic crisis and dislocation. The gap between rich and poor continues to widen. What is too much and too little? What is fair both to those who have little and to those who have much? Our world provides possibilities of an abundant life for all. How we provide that abundance is a matter of deciding what is fair. As One That Serves (AOTS) is pleased to present the Providing Abundance forum ("what kind of fairness") to encourage this discussion in community. Plan on joining us for this excellent program of conversation, drama, music, and panels.

Ed Macdonald Ed has been in the United Church for over 50 years, Served on Sudbury Presbyter for approxmetly 20 years, held the offices of Secretary for 6 Yrs and Vice Chair for 2 Years,

He also served as Presbytery Representative to Manitou Conference for 14 years. He was a General Council Representative in 1997 and 2000 and he has Served and chaired many committies within the church
